The Bruck Tunnel is a two-tube motorway tunnel on the Semmering expressway (S6) near Bruck an der Mur . The Bruck motorway junction is located at the east portal.

Data

The north tube with the direction of travel to Leoben has a length of 1237 m. It lies at an altitude of 502  m above sea level. A. The south tube in the opposite direction of travel is 13 m longer with a length of 1250 m and is also slightly higher at 527  m . Both tubes are at least 4.5 m high and the width of the two lanes is 7.50 m. The tunnel no longer corresponds to the state of the art. It and the St. Ruprecht tunnel to the west were completely renovated from 2014 to April 2016 as part of the “Bruck tunnel chain renovation”. The bridge areas at the Bruck junction are also being refurbished and noise protection is being improved.
