Generally is a freeware - racing game , which from the from Finland was programmed derived brothers Hannu and Jukka Räbinä. It is the sequel to the game Slicks 'n' Slide . The last version of GeneRally was released on January 6, 2018 (version 1.2d).

Game description

In GeneRally the player can either race against time, up to 5 computer opponents or against up to 5 teammates. The strength of the computer opponent is freely selectable.

In the options, the race length, the awarding of points (for positions 1 to 6), the gasoline weight, tire wear, gasoline consumption and the damage suffered by collisions can be freely selected. By default there are 12 cars in the game.

Due to the many possibilities to bring your own content such as cars, your own tracks and sounds into the game, there is a large community. In recent years it has produced hundreds of high quality tracks and cars for the game.

Despite the lack of online support for multiplayer mode, there are many competitions that take place over the internet.

Although it generally runs under Windows 7 , there are still some, if only minor, problems. Since the authors Hannu and Jukka Räbinä are no longer interested in the further development of the game, an attempt is made to continue the development of the game in the community.
