Tyraion

Tyraion ( Greek  Τυραῖον ), also Tyriaion , was an ancient city in the region of Kabalia in Asia Minor on the border between Phrygia and Pisidia (near today's Teke Kozağac in Turkey). The place was on the Persian " royal road " from Susa to Sardis .

The titular bishopric Tyriaeum of the Roman Catholic Church goes back to the late antique bishopric of the city .
