Tyron Akins

Tyron Akins (born January 6, 1986 ) is a Nigerian hurdler of American origin who specializes in the 110-meter distance .

In 2008 he finished sixth at the World Athletics Finals .

He has been working for Nigeria since 2014. In the same year he retired from the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow in the preliminary stages, won the African Athletics Championships in Marrakech and was fifth at the Athletics Continental Cup in Marrakech .

In 2015 he won bronze at the Africa Games in Brazzaville .
