Tyrrell Ridge ( Polish Grań Tyrrella ) is an approximately 220 m high mountain ridge on King George Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It looms between Flagstaff Hill and Piasecki Pass on the Keller Peninsula .
Polish scientists named it in 1980. It was named after the British geologist George Walter Tyrrell (1883–1961) from the University of Glasgow , who carried out petrographic studies of the rocks on King George Island.
