U-19 Floorball World Championship 2017
The 9th floorball world championship for U-19 juniors took place in Sweden from May 3rd to 7th, 2017 . The games took place in Växjö . Eight teams from the A and eight from the B division took part. The divisions were divided into two groups.
Finland secured the title after a 7-3 final victory over Sweden . The bronze medal went to the Czech Republic , which won the small final against Switzerland 8: 5. The Norwegian juniors won the B world title.
qualification
The first seven and the ninth or winner of the B division of the U-19 Floorball World Championship 2015 are directly qualified for the A division.
The eighth and tenth of the last World Cup are directly qualified for the B division. There was a qualifying round for the last six free places. These were assigned as follows:
- Europe: 2 participants
- America: 2 participants (with the United States and Canada being the only participants)
- Asia and Oceania: 2 participants
