The Zieglergasse station is a three-storey underground station on the U3 line under Mariahilfer Straße on the border between the 6th and 7th districts of Vienna. It is named after Zieglergasse in the 7th district, which was named after brickworks that were formerly located here .

The station was opened in connection with the release of the second section of the U3 line between Volkstheater and Westbahnhof on September 4, 1993. The platforms are designed as side platforms and are located in two separate tunnels arranged one below the other for reasons of space. Escalators and elevators lead to Mariahilfer Straße. Exits lead to Otto-Bauer-Gasse and in the direction of Webgasse. The distances between the previous station, Neubaugasse, and the following station, Westbahnhof, are among the smallest in the entire Vienna underground network. In addition, the Neubaugasse station has very far apart entrances. For this reason, the two stations on Mariahilfer Straße are only a few minutes' walk away from each other, so a trip between the two stations is not worthwhile in terms of time alone.

In the vicinity of the station there is also the former imperial court furniture depot , which is now part of the Schönbrunn Palace Kultur- u. Betriebsges. m. b. H. heard.
