Kirchplatz is a station of the Frankfurt U-Bahn . It is located on the C route and is served by the U6 and U7 lines. The station is in the Bockenheim district under Ginnheimer Strasse . The station opened on October 11, 1986.

The Kirchplatz train station is located between the Industriehof and Leipziger Straße stations .

The station is named after the Evangelical St. James Church , which is located at the northern end of the small square. In addition to church motifs, there are also old pictures of the formerly independent city of Bockenheim in the subway station. It is the first underground station in the postmodern style of the 1980s.
