The metro station Malostranská is a station of the Prague Metro on line A . It is located on the Lesser Town of Prague (Malá strana) , after which it is named.

The Malostranská station was opened with the commissioning of line A on August 12, 1978. The platform is 32 meters below Klarov Square . The entrance to the vestibule is in a small walled park that is part of the gardens of Palais Waldstein . There are connections to five tram lines. The station was affected by the Vltava flood in 2002 .
