The Depo Hostivař metro station is the eastern terminus of Prague Metro Line A in the Strašnice district ( Prague 10 ). The station is named after a depot of the Prague Metro on whose area it is located.

Operations began on May 26, 2006. The platform is accessible at ground level and is therefore barrier-free. There are transfer options to public bus lines and there is a park-and-ride facility in the immediate vicinity .

The Hostivař Depot ( Depo Hostivař ) is one of three Prague Metro depots (alongside the Zličín and Kačerov depots ). It has been in operation since 1985, covers an area of ​​21.5 meters and has a capacity of 200 cars. The depot is connected to the Strašnická station via a connecting track.
