Náměstí Republiky is a station of the Prague Metro line B . The underground station is located under the square of the same name in the center of the city. It is connected to the Masaryk train station via an exit .

The platform is 109 meters long and is 40 meters deep. The Náměstí Republiky station was built from 1977 to 1985 and opened with the commissioning of line B on November 2, 1985. The station was flooded during the flood in 2002 . The Palladium shopping center , which is directly accessible from the subway station, has existed since 2007.
