Florenc is the name of a metro station on the Prague Metro where lines B and C intersect. It is located at the crossroads of the same name in the Karlín district of Prague . There are transfer options to several tram and bus lines as well as to the international bus station Florenc. Until 1990 the station was called Sokolovská .

The Florenc station opened with the commissioning of line C in 1974. It served as the terminus until the extension to the Praha-Holešovice station in 1984. The platform is at a depth of 9.35 meters. Line B went into operation in 1985. This platform is 39 meters deep. The platforms are barrier-free accessible via two elevators .
