A serving form of beer with a spirit is called a submarine .

preparation

When preparing the submarine , you fill a beer glass with beer and slide a smaller glass with a spirit into it so that the two liquids do not mix. Common spirits are vodka , grain brandy , herbal liqueurs such as Jägermeister , fruit liqueurs or tequila .

The drink is similar to other combinations of beer and spirits, including the Herrengedeck and the Lüttje Lage .
