UAV Engines AR682

UAV Engines AR682 is a rotary engine for use in unmanned aerial vehicles ( UAV ) from the British manufacturer UAV Engines . It is a water-cooled twin-disc rotary engine with a particularly favorable weight / performance ratio. The runners are air-cooled. The air flow through the engine is ensured by an ejector exhaust. The engine was subjected to a 150-hour endurance test in accordance with FAR-33 in 1994, which it passed. The motor can also be supplied with a reduction gear on timing belt base and then is called UAV Engines AR682R with an engine power of 89.5 kW at 8000 min -1

It is used in the Galileo Avionica Falco drone, among others .
