from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

UAV Engines Limited (abbr .: UEL ) is a British company based in Shenstone that develops, manufactures and sells rotary engines for use in unmanned aerial vehicles ( UAVs ) and motor vehicles.

The engines are based on the development that was carried out at Norton in the field of Wankel engines between 1969 and 1992. When UEL was founded in 1992, parts of the Norton development team were taken over for this purpose. As of 04/2015, two air-cooled and two water-cooled Wankel engines with an output between 15 kW and 90 kW are being manufactured.
