It is a water-cooled single-disc rotary engine with a particularly favorable weight / performance ratio. The runner is air-cooled. The air flow through the engine is ensured by an ejector exhaust. It is produced in 3 power levels: 40 HP / 29 kW at 6000 revolutions or 50 HP / 37 kW at 8000 revolutions with a carburetor and 60 HP / 44 kW at 8000 revolutions per minute with an injection system . The motor can also be supplied with a belt-based reduction gear unit and is then named UAV Engines AR801R .
