UD Alzira is a Spanish football club from the small town of Alzira in Valencia . The club, founded in 1946, plays in the Tercera División , Group 6 in the 2015/16 season . The team's greatest success was their participation in the Segunda División in the 1988/1989 season. Since the turn of the millennium, things have gone downhill with the Valencians, so that they were even passed through to the fifth Spanish league.
