ULAS J090116.23−030635.0 is a brown dwarf of the spectral class T7.5 in the constellation Hydra . Because of the relationship between absolute brightness and spectral type, its distance is estimated to be around 20 to 30 parsecs . The low brightness measured in the K-band indicates a relatively high surface gravity. The property was designed by Lodieu et al. Discovered in the data of the UKIRT Infrared Deep Sky Survey (UKIDSS) Large Area Survey (LAS) Data Release 1 (DR1) and published in 2007.
