uWSGI is an open source project that provides an application server for web applications. uWSGI was named after the interface specification WSGI and implements this specification.
In the productive operation of web applications, uWSGI transmits the requests from the web server (e.g. NGINX ) to the web application and back. Common Python - web frameworks like Flask and Django are supported, the application can also in Ruby or Perl be written.
