Uanukuhihifu (also: Uonuku Hihifo ) is an island in the center of Haʻapai in the Pacific , as well as a small administrative district ( ʻUiha ). Politically, it belongs to the Kingdom of Tonga . The island has about 450 inhabitants.
geography
The motu is on the southern tip of the reef crest, which comes from ʻUiha . Together with Uanukuhahaki and Tofanga it belongs to the same reef crown.
climate
The climate is tropical hot, but is tempered by constantly blowing winds. Like the other islands in the Ha'apai group, Uanukuhihifu is occasionally hit by cyclones .
