Uberto Decembrio
Uberto Decembrio († April 7, 1427 in Treviglio ) was a translator and politician in Milan .
Uberto Decembrio was the secretary of the Duke of Milan Gian Galeazzo Visconti, who died in 1402, and of Peter von Candia, the later antipope named Alexander V , who acted in 1409 and 1410. He was in contact with Manuel Chrysoloras during his stay in Milan ( 1400-1403). He was busy translating Greek texts.
His sons Pier Candido Decembrio and Angelo Camillo Decembrio were also known as translators and politicians.
