Ubuntu Cola is a caffeinated and carbonated soft drink and the first certified Fairtrade cola from Great Britain.

The cola is made with sugar from Malawi and Zambia , which comes from fair trade. The product is made by Ubuntu Trading Co. Ltd. based in London and received certification on May 18, 2007. Since then, the drink has been available in the form of a 0.275 L glass bottle, a 0.33 L can and a 0.5 L plastic bottle in Great Britain , Ireland , Norway , Sweden , Belgium , France , Italy , Switzerland and on the Internet .

Surname

The cola is named after the Ubuntu philosophy of the same name . The name means something like "humanity", "charity" and "common sense". The drink is otherwise in no way related to the well-known Linux distribution .
