Udo Kreickemeier

Udo Kreickemeier (* 1969 in Darmstadt ) is a German economist and professor for international economics at the Georg-August-Universität Göttingen .

Life

Udo Kreickemeier graduated from the Cologne School of Journalism for Politics and Economics in 1992 . He then went on to study economics at the University of Cologne , which he finished with a diploma in 1996 . In 2002 he received his doctorate from Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz . He then worked as a lecturer at the University of Nottingham until 2006 and was an associate professor there from 2007 to 2009. He was then professor at the Eberhard Karls University of Tübingen from 2009 to 2015 and professor at the Technical University of Dresden from 2015 to 2018 . Since 2018 he has been Professor of International Economics at the Georg-August-Universität Göttingen .

He is co-editor of the journals “ European Economic Review ” and “ Review of World Economics ”: In addition, he is a member of the “Committee for Foreign Economic Theory and Policy” of the Verein für Socialpolitik .

Research priorities

His research focus is international trade theory including labor market factors.
