Udo Wolff (* 1947 in Hildesheim ) is a German singer, harmonica player , lyricist, composer and producer . He is also the founder of Germany's oldest blues band, the third ear .

Udo Wolff is a trained image and text editor. He later studied art and technology through the special talent test. He has been a professional musician since 1973 and has played at more than 3,500 concerts in Europe, the USA and Central America. The magazine " stern " once described it as "Germany's blues institution" .

Udo Wolff also works as an occasional author in blues publications. Among other things, he wrote the preface to the autobiography of B. B. King . Sporadically he also works as a spokesperson for record and film productions. For example, in the role of the narrator on the radio play production "The Princess with the Link" from The School Children (2003).

Private

In his private life, the artist paints, draws and photographs and creates ceramic sculptures. He is also a collector of antique peasant and nomad carpets.
