Uebel & Lechleiter

Uebel & Lechleiter was a German manufacturer of pianos and pianos, founded by Carl Uebel and Paul Lechleiter . The company began manufacturing in Heilbronn in 1872 and ceased production on August 30, 1987.

For many years, Uebel & Lechleiter was purveyor to the court for the Catholic Church in Rome and built custom-made instruments for Pope Pius X. Thus, the company can look back on a long history, in the course of which it has known how to combine European tradition and craftsmanship with precise Asian production methods . Uebel & Lechleiter pianos have therefore also spread beyond Europe.
