The Skogsbyås is a 124 möh. high mountain in central Sweden. It belongs to the municipality of Nyköping in the Swedish province of Södermanland County and is considered the highest mountain in the historical province of Södermanland . There is an observation tower on the summit, which was built around 2000, and the Sörmlandsleden leads over the summit.
