The Uganda Bureau of Statistics (UBOS, Ugandan Statistics Office) is Uganda's state statistical authority . The office is located in Kampala .

It collects, collects and analyzes statistical data on social and economic life in Uganda and compiles the official statistics for the country.

The office was formed in 1999, the Uganda Bureau of Statistics Act No. 12, 1998 . Previously, his tasks were performed by the Statistics Department in the Ministry of Finance, Planning and Economic Development .

One of the main activities of data collection is the ten-year census in Uganda (last in 2002) . Periodical publications are issued in monthly, quarterly and annual cycles.
