history
Area until the second half of the 17th century numerous citizen parcels were occupied, which were first torn down after the city wall was torn down, and were redesigned.
The first plans for the construction of 3 Maja Strasse were on Mieg's map from the end of the 18th century. At the place of the later 3-Maja-Straße there was already a path to the former Reichsstraße 82 to Lemberg via Sanok and Sambir. For the first time, 3-Maja-Straße was to create a direct connection between the old town and the market square to the new train station (1884).
In 1939 3-Maja-Strasse was renamed with Jagiellońska-Strasse in Adolf-Hitler-Strasse. In 1991, Ulica 22 Lipca was renamed again to Ulica 3 Maja (3 May Street).
