Ulisse Munari (* 1960 ) is an Italian astronomer and asteroid discoverer.

He is Professor of Astronomy at the University of Padua and works at the Asiago Astrophysical Observatory (90 kilometers northwest of Padua ), where in the course of his observations he discovered more than 50 asteroids , most of them together with Maura Tombelli . He is a member of the RAVE team in Australia . In addition, he was jointly responsible for the development of the spectrometer for the Gaia space telescope system .

The asteroid (7599) Munari , which was discovered by Andrea Boattini and Maura Tombelli on August 3, 1994 , bears his name.
