Ulla Beushausen

Ulla Beushausen (* 1961 in Badenhausen ) is professor of speech therapy at the HAWK Hochschule Hildesheim / Holzminden / Göttingen .

Career

After graduating from the Tilman-Riemenschneider-Gymnasium in Osterode , Beushausen first completed training as a speech therapist at the speech therapy schools of the Ulm and Heidelberg University Hospitals. Between 1991 and 1992 she was a speech therapist for voice disorders at the vocational school for speech therapy at the University Hospital in Munich.

Between 1986 and 1995 she studied psycholinguistics , phonetics and speech-impaired education at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich and graduated in 1995 with a doctorate on speech anxiety with the Dr. phil off.

In 2001 Beushausen received a call to the HAWK University of Hildesheim / Holzminden / Göttingen for the first professorship for speech therapy in Germany. She teaches and researches in the bachelor's and master's degree courses in speech therapy in Hildesheim.
