Ulli Wigger (* 19th November 1975 in Vienna as Ulrike Wigger Christine ) is an Austrian composer, pianist, singer, record producer, songwriter and arranger.

Life

The daughter of two opera singers received classical piano lessons from the age of three. At the age of 14 she was admitted to the Vienna Conservatory, where she began studying with the pianist Joo Ann Koh , at the same time she attended the Bundesrealgymnasium for music students. That year she wrote her first song, "Du bist du" , which helped her breakthrough in Germany in 2007.

She currently appears mainly as a soloist as a singer and accompanies herself on the piano. In March 2002 she founded her own formation "Ulli Wigger und Band". She performed at the Vienna Danube Island Festival from 2003 to 2005 and 2009. The composer also produces hits, meditation music as well as advertising, TV and film music .

Wigger gave numerous benefit concerts and supports some aid projects for Indian slum children. For this purpose she produced two albums, "Believe" and "Trues Gold", the proceeds of which she brought to Kurnool herself . The album Believe made it to India, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Australia, Japan and the USA in four editions.

In March 2010, Ulli Wigger and her band made themselves available for a performance in Kosovo. After the medal parade of the Austrian Armed Forces, “ULLI WIGGER and band” got the soldiers in the mood for the upcoming end of the 21st Switzerland-German-Austrian contingent.

In the TV and film sector, the artist specializes in orchestral music. In 2017 she also composed Schlager. Wigger also completed a sound engineering training.
