Ulrich Drepper

Ulrich Drepper (2007)

Ulrich Drepper was the chief developer and administrator of the " GNU C standard library" project glibc .

Drepper obtained his diploma in computer science from the University of Karlsruhe . From 1996 he worked for Cygnus Solutions . From 1999 to September 2010 he worked for the Linux distributor Red Hat before moving to Goldman Sachs in October 2010 . Drepper has been working for Red Hat again since April 2017. He is also a member of the x86open project and the author of specialist articles on system programming.
