Ulrich Hitzig

Ulrich Hitzig (born November 13, 1924 - May 15, 2005 ) was a Swiss television producer.

Life

On July 20, 1953, Ulrich Hitzig designed the first official program of the Swiss experimental television company as editor and interview leader. Before that, he had worked as an actor at the Zürcher Schauspielhaus , among other things . He worked for Swiss television for a total of 33 years, including as a department head and later as head of program planning .

Hitzig ended his career in 1986 as deputy television director . After retirement he worked sporadically as an actor and wrote works for newspapers and radio. Among other things, he wrote the award-winning radio play " The Jump from the Ark " in 1992 .
