Ulrich Oesingmann

Ulrich Hermann Wilhelm Oesingmann (born May 2, 1940 in Dortmund ) is a German doctor and medical professional politician.

Life

Oesingmann studied medicine in Münster, Vienna and Cologne. In 1967 he was promoted to Dr. med. PhD. From 1970 to 2003 he worked as a general practitioner and since 1963 as a specialist in general medicine. In 1977 Oesingmann was elected to the representative assembly and at the same time to the board of the KV Westfalen-Lippe . From 1985 to 2001 he was the first chairman of KV Westfalen-Lippe and a member of the board of the National Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians (KBV). From 1989 to 1993 he held the office of chairman of the National Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians. From 1995 to 2011 he was President of the Federal Association of Liberal Professions .

Oesingmann was committed to scientifically sound general medicine and the expansion of prevention and rehabilitation.
