Ulrich Rommelfanger

Ulrich Rommelfanger (* 1955 in Trier ) is a German lawyer and economist. He was Lord Mayor of Kornwestheim from 1999 to 2007 .

After graduating from high school, Rommelfanger studied law and economics in Heidelberg, Trier and Paris before completing his legal clerkship in the district of the higher regional court in Koblenz.

At the University of Freiburg he was a research assistant for Thomas Würtenberger and received his doctorate in Trier in 1987. Rommelfanger is also a graduate of the École nationale d'administration , where he graduated with the diplôme international d'administration publique .

Rommelfanger then worked as a ministerial advisor, founding rector of a university and Lord Mayor of Kornwestheim. From 1995 to 2000 he was a member of the Thuringian Constitutional Court .

He has been working as a lawyer since 2007 and as a specialist lawyer for administrative law since 2011 and as a specialist lawyer for medical law since 2014 .
