Ulrich Wergin

Ulrich Wergin (born May 11, 1939 ) is a German specialist in German.

Life

After receiving his doctorate in 1975 ( individual and general. The aesthetic virulence of a historical-philosophical problem. Examined using the linguistic style of Goethe's novel "Wilhelm Meister's Wanderjahre or the Renunciation" ) at the University of Hamburg , he taught from 1983 to 2005 as a professor of modern German literature.

His main research interests are literary history from the 18th to the 20th century and poetics, aesthetics and literary theory, primarily in the border area between literature and philosophy.
