Ultimatum is a Christian-oriented Thrash Metal band from New Mexico , USA .

Band history

Ultimatum emerged in 1992 from the band "Holy Sacrifice". After several line-up changes, Scott Waters, Robert Gutierrez and Sean Griego are still on board from the original members.

So far, Ultimatum has released four albums and one EP. While they played a mixture of power and thrash metal on the first two albums, they turned to pure old school thrash metal since the album "The Mechanics of Perilous Times" . Similar bands come mainly from the German and West American end-eighties thrash metal scene ( Testament , Overkill , Hirax , Kreator , Destruction and many more).

Singer Scott Waters was singer of the band Once Dead ( Vengeance Rising successor band) for a while, parallel to Ultimatum, and runs the website "No Life Til Metal".
