The Brauna microlight airfield is a German microlight airfield and is located 1.5 kilometers east of the Saxon town of Brauna , a district of Kamenz . It is only intended for microlight aircraft . The former municipality of Brauna granted the ultralight flight club Brauna eV in 1991 permission to start flight operations on the former agricultural field.

The operating association is also the organizer of the Sachsenmarathon, a group flight with ultralight aircraft that has been carried out annually since 1991 from Ascension Day until the following Saturday.
