Ultratwister is the name of a steel roller coaster model from the manufacturer Togo , which was first delivered in 1984. It belongs to the category of pipeline roller coasters . There are currently three deliveries in operation.

The individual wagons, in which six people (3 rows of 2 people) can sit, are located in the middle of the roller coaster track. Over the route, the cars behave as if they were a bottle in a pipeline .

Journey sequence

The carriages are first pushed backwards out of the station. When they arrive below the lift hill, the cars are folded up 90 ° so that the passengers can look up. The cars are then pulled up this lift hill forwards and drive over the following section of the route forwards. After the first 85 ° steep descent , the cars drive over an airtime hill and the first heartline roll before being braked to a standstill. This brake then folds down a little so that one end of the rail is now connected to another line. The trolleys are released from the brake and now roll backwards down the brake into the two other Heartline rollers before they are braked in the final brake.
