Küblis bypass

The Küblis bypass on Hauptstrasse 28 in the canton of Graubünden is the third major bypass in the Prättigau after the Klosters bypass and the Saas bypass . It relieves Küblis of through traffic and is part of the expansion project for Nationalstrasse 28 .

Preliminary work on geological clarification began in 2008, while drilling started in Dalvazza in 2009. The centerpiece of the bypass is the Küblis Tunnel , construction of which began in 2010 and the Küblis bypasses over a length of 2255 meters in the north. The bypass was opened to traffic traveling in the opposite direction on June 30, 2016.

The total cost of the project is estimated at 210 million Swiss francs.
