Pong Hau K'i is a Korean and called Pong Hau k'i or Pong Hau Qi is a Chinese board game played with simple strategic elements for two people and is mainly of children. It is widespread in East Asia and is called sua tok tong in Thailand and do-guti in Punjab .

Material and rules

The board is marked with a square and its diagonals, with one side line of the square missing. It is played with four pieces , which can only move according to the lines and are only allowed to remain in the diagonal intersection and at the corners. Each player has two stones that he can move around the board as explained above. The goal is to make sure that the opponent is blocked and can no longer move. No figures may be skipped.

At the beginning of the game, the four pieces are lined up on opposite sides. In order not to end the game immediately, the beginning player must make a move on the first move that enables the opponent to continue playing. To make the game more difficult, it should be played as quickly as possible.
