Umut Utku Tekoğlu (born August 25, 1993 in Elazığ ) is a Turkish football player .

Player career

Tekoğlu learned to play football in the youth department of the eastern Turkish club Elazığspor , the most famous sports club in his hometown Elazığ. In spring 2012 he was awarded a professional contract with this club and then loaned to the fourth division Afyonkarahisarspor for the second half of the 2011/12 season. After he had been active for the reserve team of the club in the 2012/13 season, Tekoğlu was loaned to third division side Elazığ Belediyespor for the 2013/14 season. In spring 2014, he returned to Elazığspor early and played for the reserve team until the end of the season. In the summer of 2014 he was accepted into the professional squad of the second division team, who had to fall back on their junior and reserve players due to financial difficulties.
