Uncasville is a district of the city of Montville, Connecticut .
Geography and inhabitants
The area is located at the mouth of the Oxoboxo River and on the side of the Thames River. The entire eastern part of the village is on the west coast of the Thames River. Uncasville has the zip code 06382. Since 1994, the Mohegan Indian Tribe resides protected in the district and bought back free land, which was seized by the state of Connecticut . The residents erected prominent modern buildings in Uncasville.

Uncasville is best known for the Mohegan Sun Casino . With an area of 23,000 square meters, it is one of the largest casinos in the world and has been in existence since 1996. In addition to the gaming areas, the building complex also has a 5-star hotel, a theater and more than 20 restaurants, bars and nightclubs. The Mohegan Sun Arena at Uncasville is a well-known multi-purpose venue for concerts and sporting events and also attracts several thousands of visitors each year to the neighborhood.
