Montville is a town in New London County in the US state of Connecticut . There are seven villages in the 114.3 km² municipal area: Chesterfield ( ⊙ ), Mohegan ( ⊙ ), Oakdale ( ⊙ ), Kitemaug ( ⊙ ), Massapeag ( ⊙ ), Palmertown ( ⊙ ) and Uncasville ( ⊙ ). The Oxoboxo River settlement area includes the latter two. In Montville that's Basketball -Damenteam Connecticut Sun resident.
geography
Montville is on the west bank of Connecticut's Thames . Its tributary Oxoboxo River , which rises in Oxoboxo Lake , flows completely through the area of the municipality. In the northwest of Montville is Gardner Lake , in the southwest near Chesterfield is Lake Konomoc , which, like Oxoboxo Lake and Bogue Brook Reservoir, is a lake regulated by a dam.
