Underground (school newspaper)

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Underground. The German student magazine was a German youth magazine that was distributed nationwide during the student revolt from 1968 to 1970.

The magazine was commercially oriented, but presented itself thematically as a left alternative to Bravo with a markedly anti-authoritarian gesture. A special feature was the awarding of the "Beating ring of the week / month" to a beating teacher. The project, which naturally caused some unrest among the conservative teachers, was discontinued in the 3rd year with the 7/1970 issue.

Topics like Away from home - but where to? Student communities ; In the ass of the world - youth in the small town ; Sex from four? About Sexuality and Domination (title of issue No. 4 April 1969) called youth protection associations on the scene.

Underground was published by Bärmeier & Nikel publishing house in Frankfurt am Main , which at that time also published the satirical magazine pardon .

On August 21, 1969, the magazine was provisionally and finally on September 5, 1969 included in the list of writings harmful to young people.
