The Unicredit Banca SpA (proper spelling: UniCredit Banca ), headquartered in Bologna was since 2002 a subsidiary of the Italian banking giant Unicredit . The company was responsible within the Unicredit group for the support of private customers and smaller companies in Italy . In 2010, Unicredit Banca was fully integrated into Unicredit and has ceased to exist as an independent company since then.
Unicredit Banca was created through the merger of seven Italian banks ( Credito Italiano, Rolo Banca, Cariverona, Cassamarca, Cassa di Risparmio di Torino, Cassa di Risparmio di Trento e Rovereto and Cassa di Risparmio di Trieste ).
