Unihockey Mittelland is a Swiss floorball club from the Olten and Zofingen region . The first team from Unihockey Mittelland plays in the first division GF.

First years
fusion
The Unihockey Mittelland club was created through the merger of the then UHC Zofingen and UHC StaWi Olten clubs on May 1st, 2010. The preparatory work lasted around two years. Due to the merger of the two clubs, the new club could start with the first team directly in the 1st league large field, since the UHC StaWi Olten played the season 2009/2010 in the 1st league large field and was able to hold the class.

After 17 wins in 18 games, the newly founded club was able to move up from the 1st division Grossfeld to the second highest division, the National League B.
National league
National League B
Already in the first season in the National League B, the club caused a stir. Halfway through the 2011/12 season, Olten Zofingen was in first position in the table. After nine more games, UM was still in first place. However, Unihockey Mittelland was only able to secure first place thanks to the better goal difference and push UHC Thun to second place. In the promotion games to the then Swiss Mobiliar League, Mittelland prevailed over Zug United and successfully qualified for the top division.
Swiss Mobiliar League
During the 2012/13 season , the men's Unihockey Mittelland team played in the National League A. In the first season, UM reached ninth place. In the playouts, the team was subject to the UHC Uster and had to go into the promotion and relegation playouts against the second division train United . The men won this series 3: 1. In the second season they could not build on the performance of the previous season and finished the main round in the last place in the table. In the subsequent playouts they were clearly defeated by UHC Grünenmatt .
Fall in the national league B
The promotion and relegation playoffs did not go as desired against a strong Thun . Mittelland had to admit defeat four times in the seven playoff games. As a result, Floorball Mittelland was relegated to the National League B. The numerous losses of players and staff weakened the team considerably. In the first two seasons, Unihockey Mittelland could always end the season in the top half of the table. In the 2016/17 season, the team from the Olten region celebrated just one win after 60 minutes. With just 12 points, Olten Zofingen finished the season in last place. After qualifying, the club announced that they would part with the long-standing coach Renato Wyss. The U21 coach Michel Bieri was appointed as his successor. The playouts were lost against Floorball Friborg and they were relegated to the 1st league large field.

The Unihockey Mittelland teams play their home games in the Giroud Olma in Olten if possible.
