UHC Grünenmatt is a Swiss floorball team from the place Grünenmatt in the municipality Lützelflüh , the second highest in the Swiss league, the National League B , plays along.
history
In 1985 the UHC Grünenmatt association was founded.
In 1998, the team rose for the first time in the NLB, in which they played for three seasons, before relegating in 2001 to the first division.
After three years in the first division, a successful season followed in 2005, which ended with promotion to the NLB. The team was able to place in the midfield in the first season after promotion. A year later, he was promoted to the NLA.
In the first NLA year, the team qualified for the finals of the six best teams.
Between the 2009/10 season and the 2011/12 season, the first team qualified for the quarter-finals of the playoffs.
In the 2016/17 season, he was relegated to the NLB. After relegation head coach Roman Schrag was replaced by his former assistant Thomas Siegenthaler. Schrag takes over the U21 team at UHCG.
