history
On January 25, 2008, at an extraordinary general assembly, it was decided to merge the three clubs UHC Saane Freiburg, UHT Düdingen and Floorball Sense Tafers at board level. This is why the Unihockey Friborg association was founded. This should relieve the individual board members and create better conditions for the clubs.
Until the 2016/17 season, the club played in the 1st league Grossfeld, the third-highest Swiss uni hockey league. Due to a strong performance of the season to floorball Friborg could for the advancement Games of the National League B qualify. Here, coach Richard Kaeser's team met Unihockey Mittelland . Floorball Friborg celebrated promotion to National League B on April 8, 2017 with a 5-4 win over Mittelland.
Stadion
If possible, the teams of Floorball Friborg play their home games in the sports hall of the Kollegium Heilig Kreuz . With its extended grandstands, the hall offers space for 4,000 spectators.
