The Red Devils March-Höfe Altendorf are a Swiss floorball club from Altendorf , which plays in the second highest Swiss league.

history

The Red Devils March-Höfe Altendorf association (Red Devils for short) was formed in 2002 from the merger of the two Ausserschwyz associations UHC March-Altendorf and UHC Pfäffikon-Freienbach. The roots of today's Red Devils go back to 1986, when the UHC March association was founded.

Already in 1996 something was happening in the Ausserschwyz floorball landscape. After the surprising rise of the UHC March-Altendorf from the 1st division (small field) to the NLB (large field), a cooperation with the UHC Wägital became inevitable from a sporting point of view. Two years later, the UHC Pfäffikon-Freienbach approached the UHC March-Altendorf to seek active cooperation. As a result, the entire junior department was concentrated under the UHC March-Altendorf. The UHC Pfäffikon-Freienbach subsequently took part in the championship with an active team each for women and men, and UHC Wägital with a women’s team. Two years after relegation from the NLB, the UHC March-Altendorf made it back to the second highest division in 2000. In February 2001 the team was voted Schwyz Team of the Year 2000. In the spring of 2001, he was relegated to the first division, where the first team played until 2009. In the spring of 2009, the 1st team made it to the NLB, after failing in the promotion games in 2008.

On March 21, 2002 the founding meeting of the Red Devils took place in Altendorf. As a result, the club recorded rapid growth and is now the largest floorball club in the canton of Schwyz . The focus was on promoting young floorball players in Untermarch and the Höfe district.

In addition to sporting activities, the Red Devils are also involved in various local events (including Chilbi Altendorf, Seenachtsfest Lachen, Christmas party Altendorf). The club has also been organizing the SZKB uni hockey party since 1996.
